Everybodies squats looked magnificient on the warmup. If Jack was there it would have brought a little tear to his eye. I don't get all misty like that but I do heartily approve.
We went over the deadlift. Looked at some common faults. Did one warmup set. Which Rebe kept insisting counted as a work set. It didn't. Then the lifting began. I don't know what to say. Everyone looked pretty dang good. Almost like you were getting the hang of it and concentrating on moving weight instead of thinking about it. I'll give you something to think about today.
Dylan tried to Deadlift my starting weight and he got it almost knee high. That's a pretty good effort. Camilo thought he'd try after it went up another 10lbs. He also got it knee high. After crossfitting for 3 months I wouldn't have been able to get it off the ground. So you guys are rocking it. Granted I had an idiot for a coach my first two years.
Dylan and Tyler hung around to do some handstands, pullups and for Dylan a transition to a muscle up. There is nothing that will make you a more well rounded athlete faster than gymnastics. Any time you want to hang around and play gymnast I'm all for it and will make the time available.
