Yesterday was the first day that Dylan did the warm-up as RX'd. That ROCKS! In celebration we cut the warm-up in half today. No body seemed to even notice that might spell bad times. Long Lost Aaron made it back. YEAH. He finally wrapped up high profile project at work. Mark joked that he needed to go back to Elements. Aaron tried to start the WOD before I yelled 3-2-1 GO. He said what it's for time. Hmmm. Maybe he does need to go back to Elements. We did our Snatch Drills and then practiced pulling it off the floor to our drive position. I was pleased with the progress. I would like to say the wod was a thing of beauty but I should have had people start in different positions. There were a couple of moments waiting at the pull-up bar but overall the athletes were incredible. Brian showed up a little green around the gills but still put in a fantastic effort.
We cashed out with jumping rope.
When it comes to the olympic lifts; snatches and Clean and Jerk there is a lot of thinking that goes on while learning the lifts. But after enough practice you stop thinking about it and you just throw yourself under the weight.
